Summer Camp

Times: Full days are 9-3, half days 9-12.

Ages: Camps will be organized into groups by age, to ensure everyone feels like they are participating with peers. Each group will have activities, riding lessons, crafts, games, etc. set to benefit the age groups.  Camp is available for 4 years through 15.

Experience Levels:  Our camp is designed to give each participant an individualized horse experience.  Lessons will be geared to directly build and progress each riders skill set. Camp will benefit a rider enjoying their first horse experience to the advanced competitor.  Our many instructors and councilors help tailor each day to give the camper the best experience possible.

Daily/Weekly Schedule: Our camps are structured to combine horsemanship and riding education with the traditional fun of summer camp.  Each day campers will ride twice, and rides can be riding lessons, trail rides, mounted games. Unmounted horsemanship lessons are taught daily and topics will include: grooming, leading, lunging, safety rules, equipment and tack terminology, equine anatomy, etc.  Crafts and activities based on the weeks ”theme” are on the daily schedule. Traditional camp games are a staple of our camp weeks. We have added a commercial sized bounce house/slide to add to our game time. Fridays of each week we provide ice cream sundaes and preform a “talent” show designed to have the campers invite friends and family.

Extra Info: Campers should wear long, comfortable pants, and  boots with a heel to ride in. Extra summer clothes, shorts and sneakers, are encouraged.  Campers should pack lunch and water. Porta potty on site.
